A passion for craftsmanship.
Paul's passion for carpentry & joinery began at just 16 years old when he started his apprenticeship straight from school. After gaining his NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, he built a career dedicated to traditional craftsmanship, precision & attention to detail.
Having been part of the Benjamin Henry team for the past four years, Paul now leads our workshop as Workshop Foreman, overseeing the manufacture of bespoke joinery for projects. From handcrafted staircases & fitted furniture to one-off architectural details, he takes great pride in transforming our clients' ideas into beautifully finished pieces that become a lasting part of their homes.
Known for his meticulous approach & high standards, Paul enjoys the challenge of creating bespoke joinery where every detail matters. Whether working from architectural drawings or collaborating with the wider team, his focus is always on delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
My Role
From workshop to home
As Workshop Foreman, Paul is responsible for managing the day-to-day running of our joinery workshop & producing bespoke pieces tailored to each project.
Carpentry & joinery
Producing bespoke joinery by hand, from fitted furniture & staircases to one-off architectural details crafted to fit each project perfectly.
Workshop management
Managing the day-to-day running of the joinery workshop, organising workflow, materials & resources to keep every piece on track.
Quality control & finishing
Checking every detail before a piece leaves the workshop, ensuring the highest standard of craftsmanship, precision & finish.

Church Barn Bespoke Staircase
The bespoke staircase was one of the most rewarding pieces I've worked on. It required careful planning, precision & attention to detail to ensure it complemented the character of the barn while becoming a real feature of the finished home.

Outside of Work
Time with family
Away from the workshop, Paul enjoys spending time with his family & is often busy ferrying his two sons to football matches & training. He enjoys family holidays, keeping on top of the garden & making the most of time outdoors whenever he can.
