With a BA (Hons) & 30 years of professional practice in Commercial Management & Project Delivery, Teresa brings a wealth of knowledge & experience to the Benjamin Henry team.
She plays a key role in ensuring every project is carefully planned, accurately costed & managed with transparency from start to finish.
As Quantity Surveyor, Teresa works closely with the wider team to prepare detailed cost plans, monitor project budgets & provide clients with clear financial guidance throughout their build. Her analytical approach, attention to detail & proactive communication help keep projects well organised while giving clients confidence at every stage of the journey.
Teresa enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers & clients, finding practical solutions that balance quality, value & long-term performance. She takes pride in helping projects run smoothly behind the scenes, drawing on her extensive industry experience to ensure every decision is carefully considered and each project is set up for success from the outset.
My Role
Clarity & confidence from the start
As Quantity Surveyor, Teresa is responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Preparing project cost plans
Developing detailed cost plans that provide a clear financial roadmap for every project from the outset.
Estimating & budgeting
Creating accurate estimates & budgets that help clients understand costs & make informed decisions.
Procurement & supplier management
Coordinating with suppliers & subcontractors to secure the right materials & services at the right value.
Valuations & cost reporting
Providing regular, transparent cost reports that keep clients informed of project finances throughout the build.
Managing project variations
Tracking & assessing changes to scope, ensuring any variations are clearly understood & agreed.
Financial forecasting
Monitoring projected spend against budgets to identify risks early & support smooth financial delivery.
Supporting the project delivery team
Working closely with the wider team to ensure commercial insight supports every stage of delivery.

Time with family & friends
Outside of work, Teresa enjoys spending time with family & friends, local amateur dramatics, ballroom dancing, exploring the local area & making the most of a good work-life balance. She enjoys travelling, discovering new places & occasionally unwinding with a Singapore Sling.
